FLOUR TORTILLAS

Flour tortillas are delicious.  They don’t have the ancient heritage of corn tortillas, but many people prefer them .  You don’t have to choose.  Eat both.

Flour tortillas are eaten by the people of Mexico, mainly in the north. Every delicious burrito, flauta, and bunuelo starts with a flour tortilla. They should be soft, and chewy but not tough, and have a faintly sourdough taste.  When eaten warm with a little salsa, or as the wrap for a burrito made with stewed chicken, the well-made flour tortilla is sublime.  Our tortillas are made in small batches by hand, and taste exactly like homemade.
