What is Salsa?

Salsa means ‘sauce’ in Spanish. In English salsa is what you dip tortilla chips in; salsa is what you put on top of nachos, a taco, or inside a burrito.  Or put some Dos Loquitas salsa on a fresh, hot Dos Loquitas corn or flour tortilla, roll it up and eat it.  This may be the most delicious way of all.

At Dos Loquitas, we make our bottled salsa using the freshest ingredients: Tomatoes, onions, garlic, cilantro, chili peppers, bell peppers.  Then we add vinegar and lime juice to give it a pleasant tang. The result is a sauce that will enhance the flavor of Mexican food, and also other foods, like salads, meats, and vegetables.  Our salsa is very low in calories.
