Nachos

There is a reason why nachos are very popular in Vietnam.  They’re the perfect hot snack or light meal.  Start with Dos Loquitas white corn tortilla chips.  Lay them in a baking dish, covering the bottom of the dish with chips two or three deep.  Then, add whatever you want.  Traditional nachos are basic.  You cover the chips with shredded cheddar or jack cheese, then add sliced pickled jalapeno peppers.  Bake them in a conventional oven until the cheese has melted and the chips are good and hot.  If you’re in a hurry, use the microwave. You can of course make hardier nachos by adding refried beans, chicken, beef, pork, or sausage; lettuce, tomatoes, guacamole, and anything else that sounds good.  Be creative!! Enjoy them with your favorite beer or a margarita.
